Tuple is my next pet's name, ha ha...it will be neutered. I recently learned the most basic definition of tuple at a Standford online course. As a (mainly) HW engineer, I know I am way behind in the latest in everything. I highly recommend taking some of the free online courses that Standford (and others) teach online for course credit that anyone can join in on (and take the quizzes, etc.) on Coursera.org I look at this and wonder what I could have done had I had access to this as a bored teenager (we didn't have TV, and church was my only social outlet until college.)

It was great meeting you at FIRST last Saturday. One of the best things about having kids is watching them get excited about technology, and knowing that you can steer them to cool stuff you never had access to. When you see the light go off in their eyes you realize just how satisfying it is to raise a productive, polite, responsible, and creative kid.

Hi Cori,

Nitpick: You're not actually using the dynamicness of the items in the extension method. It would be more self-documenting to change the extension method to take an IEnumerable<IDictionary> -- you will still be able to pass it a List because ExpandoObject is IDictionary. Alternatively, if you really want to support arbitrary dynamic objects, you could change the implementation to query the object for the set of dynamic properties -- for ExpandoObject that would be the same as the dictionary, but it would also work for objects that don't expose their properties as a dictionary. See IDynamicMetaObjectProvider if you want to do this (and stand by to enjoy a near-complete absence of documentation *sigh*).

Definitely inspiring, and please don't feel like you have to take this post down! It's not offensive, it's just your honest experience - which is why I enjoyed it so much :-)

I'm a newbie to the community, and I've really enjoyed following your blog (I found it whilst looking for programming resources for children). So I thank you! :-)
